TOTAL CONDYLAR KNEE SYSTEM

Osteoimplant Technology, Inc.’s Total Condylar Knee System is a more constrained design with the most widely accepted product features currently available. The unique features of the system provide implant stability, function, performance and longevity thereby improving patient outcome.

OTI’s TC Knee system has been researched, designed, tested and refined with the aid of sophisticated and computer graphics, manufacturing technology and the many years of experience represented in OTI’s management team.

FEMORAL COMPONENT
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
  • 4 sizes with Anterior Posterior sizing directly correlated with Medial Lateral width to cover the full spectrum of femoral anatomy.
  • Universal and can be used on either a right or left femur.
  • Precision ground to provide uniform contact zones throughout the range of motion.
  • Designed with a congruent distal radius to optimize contact areas and reduce contact stress.
  • Allows a good range of motion for flexion and extension yet prevents Medial Lateral motion or shifting.
  • Deepend patellar groove to avoid functional shortening of the extensor tracking and to provide resistance to lateral subluxation of the patella.
  • Manufactured from CoCrMo per ASTM F-75
TIBIAL COMPONENT
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
  • 4 sizes with AP sizing directly correlated with DL width to cover the full spectrum of femoral anatomy.
  • Deep PCL Notch for optimal ligament clearance.
  • Modular tibial inserts secured using a four point containment system.
  • Single foot keel to provide maximum stability.
  • Manufactured from CoCrMo per ASTM F-75
TIBIAL INSERTS
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
  • 7 sizes
  • Manufactured from the purest grade of calcium stearate free UHMWPE.
  • Articular surface rotationally tracks toward the centerline of the knee in the anterior direction to allow for rotary motion.
  • Secured into baseplate using a four point containment system.
  • 10 degree slope approximates the natural anatomy of the tibia
PATELLAR COMPONENTS
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
  • Extended to fully cover bone patella
  • Enlarged stress area distribution to minimize point tracking between the condyles
  • Provides the full contact needed to minimize wear and deformation of the medial and more often lateral facet areas.
  • More accurately reproduces the normal kinematics of the patello-femoral joint by maintaining the proper tension in the extensor mechanism.
  • Concentric dome with choice of one or three pegs.
  • 3 sizes
  • Manufactured from the purest grade calcium stearate free UHMWPE
