OTI’s IMIN™ Series Modular Hip Systems were designed to give the surgeon a greater ability to adjust offset, anteversion and leg length which reapproximates correct biomechanical alignment to ensure the minimal joint reaction force and the correct stress transfer from the upper body to the femur through the ankle. By achieving the best femoral head orientation , there is less stress on the acetabulum, less wear, and less chance of dislocation and osteolysis. The modularity of the IMIN™ Series increases intraoperative versatility and reduces the amount of implant inventory required for the surgical procedure. The femoral stems and heads are manufactured from CoCrMo using a proprietary process. This material has a proven history of high fatigue strength, outstanding biocompatibility and superior resistance to corrosion.
