OTIs LSF Total Hip System were designed to incorporate
state of the art knowledge in biological fixation interfaces
as well as bone remodeling. The result is a stem which will
achieve long-term interface fixation as well as bone maintenance
and constructive bone remodeling. The LSF was designed based
upon years of laboratory research on porous coated implants
including material selection fabrication, pore structure and
location, rate and type of tissue ingrowth and interface attachment.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- 45% porous coated stem with a blasted distal portion
and polished tip.
- Three dimensional porous coating allows 3D macro-interlock
of bone into the depths of the porous coating down
to the substrate.
- Coated with 2 layers of spherical beads with the
optimum range of 250-350 micron pore size for maximum
stability fixation and stress distribution, which
has proven to be the most effective for proximal femoral
fixation.
- Available with or without Hydroxyapatite coating.
- Reduced neck taper, reduces bulk of the stem and
thereby increasing the range of motion of the hip.
- 7 Stem diameters
- Available with 35 mm and 38 mm neck lengths
- 8 degrees of anteversion has been incorporated to
add stability to the joint.
- Neck designed to withstand necessary physiological
loading and to allow for the greatest range of motion.
