SERIES MODULAR HIP SYSTEMS
OTIs IMIN Series Modular Hip Systems were designed
to give the surgeon a greater ability to adjust offset, anteversion
and leg length which reapproximates correct biomechanical
alignment to ensure the minimal joint reaction force and the
correct stress transfer from the upper body to the femur through
the ankle.
By achieving the best femoral head orientation , there is
less stress on the acetabulum, less wear, and less chance
of dislocation and osteolysis. The modularity of the IMIN
Series increases intraoperative versatility and reduces the
amount of implant inventory required for the surgical procedure.
The femoral stems and heads are manufactured from CoCrMo
using a proprietary process. This material has a proven history
of high fatigue strength, outstanding biocompatibility and
superior resistance to corrosion.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Rectangular form assures rotational stability by
providing a mechanical interlock with the proximal
femoral cortical bone.
- Unique contour that conforms to the shape that approximates
the femoral anatomy, providing secure axial positioning
of the prosthesis.
- The calcar arch replicates the natural anatomic
shape of the calcar region. The design more closely
approximates the natural physiologic loading pattern
for maintenance of healthy bone stock.
- The trochanteric wing provides primary stability
by seating within the lateral aspect of the proximal
femur.
- 14 Sizes which can be used for either left or right
total hip replacement.
- Available coated with a Titanium Plasma Spray for
international markets only.
